Nine is a structural film formed around the language of the answers my nine-year-old brother gave me in a one-on-one interview. This film is hand developed and was shot on negative 16mm film and edited digitally after development.
This is a narrative cinepoem about escaping to a separate reality out of fear of the current and the complications that expedition entails. It is based off of a dream I had after eating a lot of cheese and taking a nap – hence the name. This film was shot on reversal 16mm film, includes cameraless and special effect element and edited by hand.
